Collaborate with business partners to develop and execute upon marketing and client service strategies in order to support the institutional sales efforts of Principal Real Estate Investors (PrinREI). Position involves a wide variety of projects and exposure to various teams, including senior management. Must have natural inclination toward collaborating with others to achieve a common goal. Projects will vary between assisting with new business development strategies; positioning the firm in response to client, consultant or prospect inquiries under the guidance of the PrinREI Marketing team; developing new marketing materials that create a consistent, compelling story; and establishing processes to ensure efficient delivery of superior service to all PrinREI clients and prospects.


Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years related work experience in marketing, communications, investments or financial services.
Ability to provide timely and complete responses to ad hoc requests for information.
Aptitude for managing multiple projects at one time, thus a strong sense for prioritization of competing requests.
Solid planning and organizational skills.
Natural talent for building and maintaining effective relationships both internally and externally.
Ability to influence, strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills.
Must be adaptable and flexible.
Must be professional and display a high level of self-initiative.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Knowledge of (or ability to obtain knowledge of) the institutional asset management industry, products and services.
Ability to appreciate and recognize sensitive situations as related to firm-wide or department activities, thus the ability to maintain confidentiality as appropriate.

Limited travel required.
