If so, check out this future opportunity with Principals Internal Audit & Risk Consulting team.   As an IT Audit Manager, you will help our company meet its strategic objectives by performing risk-focused, process-based internal audits and risk consulting services related to the deployment, use, and oversight or information technologies at business operation around the globe.  This role will work closely with leaders and employees in an assigned business area that aligns with your experience and skills, quickly growing your professional network. Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Obtaining an independent comprehension of the deployment, administration, vulnerability management, and oversight of technologies being reviewed to identify the applicable risks.
  • Using automated assessment tools and data to evaluate the effectiveness of business processes, and current risk mitigation and control activities
  • Consulting with business partners to develop action plans for risk management strategies that align with goals and objectives.
  • Documenting insights and detailed process risk/controls and where applicable, performing tests to assure risk management strategies are functioning effectively.
  • Researching industry trends for technology risk management and sharing those ideas with business leaders.
  • Preparing written audit reports for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science, technology, engineering, or math related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience required including work experience in IT or experience working as a technical auditor.
  • Experience or understanding of coding, cyber security, and/or SQL (or other scripting languages) strongly preferred.
  • Previous audit or risk management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must have problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Must have relationship building, consultation, and influencing skills.
  • Must have growth mindset and the ability to accept and adapt to a changing environment.
  • PC and/or system skills required. Intermediate Excel/Access/Microsoft BI preferred.
  • Some travel will be required for this position (10-20%, travel 3 weeks up to 9 weeks depending on the year).
